Former Vice-Presidential candidate, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and Congressman from New York, Jack Kemp has been one of the nation’s leading advocates for strong economic growth, free markets and lower tax rates. He also is one of the strongest advocates for revitalizing our cities and encouraging entrepreneurship. Kemp is currently the Chairman and Founder of Kemp Partners, a strategic consulting firm. He serves on Speaker Hastert’s Saving America’s Cities Working Group. He is also Chairman of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. Kemp serves on the Boards of several technology companies including Oracle. In 1993, he founded Empower America with Bill Bennett and Jeane Kirkpatrick. Prior to serving in Congress, Kemp spent 13 years in professional football, playing quarterback for the San Diego Chargers and the Buffalo Bills. He led the Buffalo Bills to the American Football League championship in 1964 and 1965 when he was named the League’s most valuable player. He also co-founded the AFL Players Association. He is on the Board of Habitat for Humanity and Chairman of Habitat’s National Campaign for Rebuilding our Communities.
